Terms of service
Terms & refund policy
These terms cover work commissioned from Mokaya Motions. Paying for a package means accepting them.

What you're buying
Animated product demos and related motion assets, produced to the scope of the package you purchased. Each package lists what it includes — the number of demos, their approximate length, the formats delivered and the number of revision rounds. Anything outside that list is new work and is quoted separately.
What we need from you
Work starts once you have submitted the project brief and given us what it asks for: access to record your product (or a staging build), brand assets, and a named person who can approve the storyboard. Delays in providing these move the delivery date by at least the same amount.
Never send passwords by email or through the brief form. We will arrange access securely.
Revisions
Each package includes a set number of revision rounds, listed on the package. A round means one consolidated set of notes, not an open-ended sequence of individual changes. Revisions refine work within the agreed storyboard; changing the storyboard after approval, or changing your product's interface mid-project, is new work.
Payment and refunds
Packages are paid in full up front through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
There are no refunds for delivered work. Once a demo, cut, storyboard or other asset has been delivered to you, that portion of the fee is non-refundable, whether or not you go on to use it.
Before anything is delivered, you may cancel and we will refund the fee less the work already carried out — for example, discovery, scripting or storyboarding completed by the time you cancel. If we cannot deliver what you paid for, we refund the undelivered portion in full.
Delivery means sending you the asset or a link to it, by any agreed channel. If you think delivered work does not match the agreed scope, tell us within 14 days and we will correct it under your included revision rounds.
Ownership and rights
When your invoice is paid in full, you own the delivered assets and may use them without limit — landing pages, ads, social, sales, launches, anywhere.
We keep ownership of our working files, project files and internal methods. You keep all rights in your product, brand, interface and any assets you give us; you confirm you are allowed to give them to us.
Showing the work
We may show delivered work in our portfolio and marketing unless you ask us in writing not to. If your project is confidential or under embargo, tell us and we will keep it private, including past the launch date if you prefer.
Turnaround
We give you a delivery estimate once the brief is in and the scope is settled. Estimates assume timely feedback and access. We will tell you as soon as we know if a date is going to move.
Liability
We do not guarantee any particular commercial result — conversion rate, signups or revenue — from using the work. Our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If something goes wrong, contact us first — most things are settled with a conversation.
